Human

I'm listening to the Killers and as I didn't have any idea which title i should give to my post i decided to choose the title of the song I'm listening at the moment. Although I'm not the biggest fan of the band I like some of their songs. Human is one of them.

Gábor,...I read your sceptical and cynical comment about Law of Attrection. And I did not like it :P It's a very famous technique used successfully by millions (including me). Once we meet again I'll tell you more about it and I'm sure sooner or later you will try this posotive-thinking method consciously. Just wait for the moment.
I'm using it right now as well, trying to get out of this city. I applied for jobs as animators. I know the description of it is "someone who imparts energy and vitality and spirit to other people" and I'm not the most energetic person you can meet but if i got the job in Spain, Ciprus or Greece I would do my best.
My mom told me to apply for stewardess jobs but I haven't decided what to do about it. Speaking English is enough but I should sign the contract for 3 years. However I would not like to begin to study something in 3 years.

So as you can see I really don't know what to do. Now I'm looking for jobs in the neighbourhood but it's really difficult although my professional CV.
Let's stay positive. I want to be an animator in Spain.

Other things...my tattoo is finished and looks great. It hurt a little bit and in this unbearable heat it's really difficult to hide it from my parents but I believe it's worth everything. Maybe I'll tell my parents in the next days so don't be surprised if you don't hear from me :)
I was lying on the beach of the Hungarian sea, namely Balaton with my cousin all day. We took a swim only two times because I had to be careful about my butterfly.

I watched Cars the day before yesterday and I think it's crap (sorry) but I feet like watching it was a waste of time. It's the worst Pixar movie although I haven't seen Toy story 3 yet.
One of my friends suggested me a page where I can watch movies but I don't have to buy them. There hasn't been many movies uploaded yet but if you're intrested I'll let you know the link.

Ohh and the most important thing! I met Zsuzsi on Wednesday, she came to get back her things. It was a great although a little bit strange feeling to see her again in my environment. We talked a bit but unfortunatly her dad was in a hurry so we didn't have much time to talk. We found out that the both of us have been looking at pictures from Norgaards and listening to songs reminding us to the hojskole since we got home.
I cannot wait to see you and the other guys as well!

I'll go on looking for jobs. Can I go with you Gábor? :) I love Amsterdam!! :)
I'm eagerly waiting for my answer from Roskilde (29 of July) but in case they think I'm too qualified for them or my parents tell me to earn money for it I'd be happy to join you. And how sure are you that it's the job of your dreams? Because in Norgaards I could've never decided whether you wanted that job or not. But I think it's very great that they invited you to an interview.
And tell us about the wedding!! Did they like the newspaper?

And what about you Leho? What is your next step? Studying? Working?

Are you guys watching the Football World Cup? I felt so sorry for Ghana yesterday. It would've been nice to see an African team in the finals. So now I'm cheering for Spain. I liked them today. Who do you think will win?

Hope to hear from you soon!

Mira

  1. Animator? wow! :D Don't u have to show your own made cartoons or something?
Stewardess job is cool. A high pay, not so hard job, a lot of traveling. But exactly - this is commitment for years. U can't have this job only for a while.

We wanna see the final version of butterfly!

I'm taking easy. I'm not looking for a job not in Estonia and not from anywhere else. I'm waiting and looking what comes and maybe something falls for me. :D

I've watched a bit of football by force but I found even the Spain vs Paraguay game boooring.

  2. hey guys,

sorry for the delay in replying but i had to come to terms with my post-wedding hangover. You do not need to worry (I know you would) cause it wasn't that bad: somehow if it's about palinka (40-50%) and unicum (40%) I always know how much to drink to be drunk enough without suffering on the following day. It's good to see that 10+years drinking experience eventually pays off.

The wedding was cool, 3 of my best friends were present so we had a great time; a few of the distant relatives turned out to be really funny after a few rounds of palinka, Germany beat Argentina easily, we ate and drank as much as we could, danced a bit and made fun of the groom. My only regret is that we did not have many free, good-looking girls in our age. Oh well...(sigh)
But the newspaper was great success: we made pictures with Obama and Castro greeting the bride and the pope and the Dalai lama blessing the groom; the groom defeating Nadal in the Wimbledon final, etc. There was laughter all over the place when we gave out the papers, more of the relatives came to us asking for the digital version. We included a crossword too offering double portion from the wedding cake for the winners who should have applied at the groom for the award. I have just spoken to the guy and he told me he had a lot of guests coming with the right result demanding double portion... :)
So it was really good, but somehow I still have ambivalent feelings: I got to know these guys when I was 12, which was quite a long time ago, and none of them got married so far. And now one of them is kind of "lost"... I mean this guy was really amusing on a number of occasion when we meet unknown girls at random partys; he was talking rubbish for their numbers and we laughed our heads off. Is it over then? Will it never happen again? So strange and hard to believe...

But before getting too emotional I have to turn my attention on such serious sounding words as "options", "derivatives" and "arbitrage"... i will need these to seem well prepared for the tasks lying ahead in the position I'm applying for. Mira, you are asking if I really wanna get this job. Well, if I look at the job description I feel it's terrific. Amsterdam is also a great city although it's not fully English-speaking. However, if I move there I will need company but currently I only have one really good friend there - and a bunch of people who are ready to be friends anytime if I have €50 spare money... so I would be really happy if the Castlepalace-butterfly would move to Amsterdam, or even if - I did NEVER expect to say this - the number of the members of the Estonian Community would increase by one. (I do not know how Amsterdam would fit in the plans of the polish girls.) But it's way too early to tell if they will like me or not - so we should rest the plans too for a while.

Regarding the world cup I have to admit I agree with both of you - I was heartbroken when Ghana went out due to that little ugly uruguayan cunt who saved their winning shot in the last minute of the game. I hope everyone he meets will spit him in the eye in the following days - and that Arsenal will sign him cause he is a f*cking brilliant striker otherwise...
And yes, Spain vs Paraguay seemed to be boring cause it really was boring.
Who will win? I expect Holland to get to the final but I hope they gonna get defeated by the other team, whoever it may be. Before the tournament I would have cheered for the Spanish team cause they played beautifully. However, we haven't seen much of that on the WC, so currently I am for the Polish-Turkish-Ghanaian team which is playing in German colours. They are quite young, organised and playing well - I send a big "KOM NU!" to them! :)

PS: I was wondering which group sings a song I heard in the radio - and it was Human from the Killers! :) Thanks for your help Mira!
Or am I using law of attraction unknowingly?? :)
