At the beginning of week I emptied cocoa drink's powder can (which best before date was April 2002 :D ) and I had no reason to stay at parents house any more. I lifted my briefcase (of course I haven't unpack it to be ready to fly a way in any moment if some opportunity calls) to car and went to traveling.
I went to Tallinn at first where I spent few days doing... different stuff like socializing etc. Friday evening I went to Estonian western part to visit a friend. We went swimming, sauna and in adventure park. :) Nice vacation. Even the tumor in my neck has got smaller. Also weather is great here - hot and dry and water, even in sea, is warm.
But every time I drive to gas station I want to cry! Like everything else the gas is so expensive and I need money! Let's wait and what comes out. :)
The same here, although without a car... or travelling... or sea... God dammit I even don't have a tumor!... but the weather is good too.
ReplyDeleteApart from the wedding I watch the world cup and some movies, read a bit, do exercises, run, or go playing tennis with friends. It's really relaxing but it will not last for long as I have to start preparing for the interview. And need to be looking for other jobs at the same time (just to have plan B). No complains though, as long as Pöttyös Guru is available in a shop just about 15meters from our flat I do not need to worry about anything...
After the disappointingly avarage Illusionist I watched The Prestige. Now, it was much better, I especially liked Michael Caine. We had more twists and turns and a nice moral dilemma at the end... I think Woody Allen must have seen the movie as well cause he contracted both of the main female characters for Vicky,Christina,Barcelona. I recently bought Kingdom of Heaven, Memento and From Hell. I am thinking about buying Charlie and the chocolate factory and the Insider. Have you seen any of these movies? What do you think about them? How would you rate them between 1-10 if 1 is the worst movie ever seen, 10 is the best ever seen, and 100 is Lion King 2? :)
And a friend told me I should watch dr.strangelove - he is an amateur actor and I absolutely loved one of their plays called "the war room". Now it turned out to be an adaptation of the movie. I will watch it but should I?
Illusionist was ok, Prestige was quite good. But Woody Allen had already made 2 movies with Scarlett Johansson before Prestige - Scoop and Match Point. And Scoop was also bit related with magic - Woody Allen played magician in this movie.

Kingdom of Heaven should be good although it didn't impress me. Memento is crazy. From Hell was... ok I guess, can't remember much. Charlie and the chocolate factory was too childish for me. I haven't seen Insider and Strangelove.

ReplyDeletewatched kingdom of heaven - it was similar to a history lesson at secondary school. I always liked history, found it quite interesting and amusing: a bunch of interesting facts and events people will never learn from. The movie was alike: lively characters, amusing story - which the watcher will forget once the movie is over, although it tried to stress the problem has relevance for us, modern people as well.
I have seen Charlie and the chocolate factory too. I remember liking it when I saw it years ago - now I wonder why I did so.
Ugly weather outside, raining all the time - rings a bell, I have the feeling i have seen these clouds somewhere before...
According to my opinion, which I know is very important, Memento is ok. Not the best, but if you have too much time you should watch it.
ReplyDeleteI recently watched The princess and the frog and I liked it very much. I watched it in English without any subtitles and I understand 99% of it. I was very happy:)
I'd like to watch something reallly good but I don't know what. Any suggestions? Something with a happy end of course :)
