Finally, my first post

Hello!

At last, but not least I join the world of bloggers. Who knows, maybe I'll be famous about it one day.

Anyway things are getting better for me, my family's started to get used to the idea that I'm at home, and that I've changed a little bit. I visited my whole family during the week, met some friends and from tomorrow I'm looking for jobs everywhere around the world. I'm even thinking about going to work in/on (?) a ship and get some money but it is said to be a very hard work. So I'm focusing on the UK, Ireland and the Netherlands. Denmark would be the best but since I'm not there I guess finding a job is even harder. And I didn't apply for this cleaning job. I hope I won't regret it, but to be honest I didn't feel as if that would be the best choice for me and as the Law of Attraction says: if your senses don't tell you to do it, don't do it...or something like that. But I would work somewhere with you guys happily. I've applied for some bar jobs in the UK and I'm waiting for the answers.

What about you? Any great job opportunities?

A little information about my life here...my father is building a woodhouse(?) in our garden so I don't know when we can meet the Hungarian fellows (and of course I'd be happy if people from other countries could come but i know it's a little difficult:() They don't want to set up(?) the pool(?) because of the weather but I hope we can find out something. I miss you guys(even Gábor sometimes:) very much:)
Some other things..I'm going to finish my tattoo-making(?) tomorrow, so I'm a little bit nervous about it. My parents haven't found out about it but after their reaction to my smoking behaviour, I'm pretty sure they will kill me because of it. So they will get to know it after I can live on my own. I don't need the yourruiningyourownbodyandlife talk
And I watched Sex and the City 2...ok it's not the deepest drama I've ever seen but it's quiet good..beautiful dresses, locations, people, sometimes too much luxury but I liked it.
Ohh and Gábor (sorry guys but its a special hungarian chocolate) I can recommand pöttyös Guru..if you haven't tried it yet, please do it for me! You will be addicted! :)

That's from me, maybe I'll write something tomorrow about my tattoo if i feel like it..i kinda like this blog writing thing.

Mira

P.S.: if you find some grammatical mistakes, please let me know :D I'd like to use this blog for learning as well

  1. Nice to her from you, Mira :)
My sisters have been waitresses in ships, they have some kind of education regarding that. I can ask how hard was it. I guess u don't plan to be a sailor. But U may try to get captain's position. :)

As a matter of fact I already signed a job contract today. But don't worry, it's not exactly my job. Just my father wants to save some taxes and it's useful for him if there is someone's else name. :D

    Who's Gabor, I've totally forgot? :D

    Yes, bloging is cool. :)

Good luck with parents, finding a job and of course,
    BON APPETIT, Mira!

  2. Hey Guys,

I fear I am a bit underqualified in the field of metaphysics as I had to look up what "law of attraction" means and feel now enlightened after checking wikipedia. It says I have three steps (namely "Ask","Believe", and "recieve") to take if I wanna get involved and I think I will try it straight after the evening game. I especially liked the description of the first step "Know what you want and ask the universe for it", sounds quite fun, I just do not know what communication tool to use, skype should be the cheapest, surely.

But how rude I am! I should have started with expressing how delighted I am that we have our first female editor in the team! I was impressed my her first posting - I sensed more years experience behind it. (Which is I believe, quite coincidentally, the same what her CV may suggest.)

You mentioned, teagirl, that among your yourruiningyourownbodyandlife activities you are having your tatoo finished. What's there to be done? The butterfly gets brand-new colours? I hope it was not that painful!

I cannot promise I'm gonna watch sex and the city 2 but the thought just occured to me that we could start some sort of "online movie club", so we could watch the same movies approximately at the same time. Since teagirl and me are sort of bumping into movies on the net accidentally quite often, it would not be that difficult to arrange it and discuss them in the following days. How about you Leho? Do you have a magic source as well?

Thanks for the Guru-tip - I will try it tomorrow and get addicted straightaway - I promise. :)

Regarding the work topic I will comment on Leho's post - but if you would like to apply for ships I would definitely add to the CV the outstanding experience you gained in Denmark by serving on a ship (canoe)! :)

And a sentimental note to the end - I'm missing you guys as well!!
(Quite interesting how the human mind preserves only the nice memories, even if that is just a tiny-tiny bit of the whole... :)

  3. I'm not gonna watch S&C 2 either. And that makes me think that the online movie club would work very well as someone has emm... interesting taste. ;) Technically there shouldn't be any difficulties though - I can find motion pictures myself.
